Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before booking the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra with Shiven Holidays. By proceeding with your booking, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.
- Eligibility
* Passport: All participants must possess a valid Indian passport with a minimum validity of six (6) months from the date of completion of the Yatra.
* Age: Generally, pilgrims should be between the ages of 18 and 70 years .However, in some cases, travellers up to 75 years may be considered subject to specific conditions and approval from Chinese authorities, including medical fitness and accompanying family members. Pilgrims aged 60 years and above may face restrictions on undertaking the Parikrama (circumambulation) of Mount Kailash, subject to the discretion of the Tibetan authorities.
* Medical Fitness: All participants must be physically fit and medically healthy to undertake a high-altitude trek. In your interests, it is essential that you be examined by your doctor to know about your health condition and your ability to cope up with the rigors of high altitude travel for days in ‘no road’ conditions, extreme cold, dust, trekking to an altitude of 19500ft during the Parikrama, etc.
* Nationality: Indian and Non –Indian citizens are eligible for the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra organized by Shiven Holidays via Nepal. Indian and Non-Indian passport holders are generally allowed to undertake the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra via Nepal, but there are different procedures and eligibility criteria for each.
- Booking and Payment
* A non-refundable booking deposit is required to secure your place on the Yatra. The amount will be specified at the time of booking.
* The full payment for the Yatra must be received by Shiven Holidays ( A Unit of T.S .Hospitality) at least 30 days prior to the departure date. Failure to make timely payments may result in the cancellation of your booking.
* Payments can be made via cheque, cash deposit, demand draft, or online transfer as per the instructions provided by Shiven Holidays.
* The Yatra cost typically includes accommodation, meals (usually vegetarian), transportation as per the itinerary, necessary permits, and visa fees. It may exclude personal expenses, pony charges travel insurance, medical costs, tips, and any additional services not mentioned in the inclusions.
- Cancellation Policy
* Any cancellation of the Yatra by the participant must be communicated to Shiven Holidays ( A Unit of T.S .Hospitality) in writing. The cancellation charges will be applicable based on the number of days prior to the departure date when the cancellation is made.
Any cancellation before 61 days prior to departure date will cost the initial booking amount of INR 50,000/Person
Any cancellation between 59 Days to 30 Days prior to departure date will cost 30% of agreed package cost.
Any cancellation between 29 Days to 8 Days prior to departure will cost 50% of agreed package cost.
Any cancellation within 7 days of departure will be treated as NO Show, hence there will be no refund in that case.
* Shiven Holidays (A Unit of T.S .Hospitality) reserves the right to cancel the Yatra due to unforeseen circumstances, such as natural disasters, political unrest, or issues with permits. In such cases, a full or partial refund may be provided, but this will be at the discretion of Shiven Holidays ( A Unit of T.S .Hospitality) and may be subject to the policies of their local partners and authorities.
- Visa and Permits
* Shiven Holidays (A Unit of T.S .Hospitality) will assist in the processing of necessary permits and visas required for the Yatra. Participants are responsible for providing accurate and timely documentation as requested.
* The issuance of permits and visas is at the sole discretion of the relevant authorities, and Shiven Holidays (A Unit of T.S .Hospitality) cannot be held responsible for any rejection or delays.
* Any additional costs incurred due to visa rejections or delays will be borne by the participant.
- Health and Insurance
* It is mandatory for all participants to have adequate travel and medical insurance that covers high-altitude sickness, emergency evacuation, and other unforeseen medical expenses. You will need to provide proof of this insurance to Shiven Holidays (A Unit of T.S .Hospitality) before the commencement of the Yatra.
* Participants are advised to consult their doctor for necessary vaccinations and medical advice before undertaking the Yatra.
* Shiven Holidays (A Unit of T.S .Hospitality) will not be responsible for any medical emergencies, illnesses, or accidents during the Yatra. Any medical expenses incurred will be the sole responsibility of the participant.
- Itinerary and Changes
* Shiven Holidays (A Unit of T.S .Hospitality) will provide a detailed itinerary for the Yatra. However, the itinerary is subject to change due to weather conditions, road closures, permit issues, or other factors beyond the control of Shiven Holidays.
* Shiven Holidays (A Unit of T.S .Hospitality) reserves the right to alter the itinerary, accommodation, and transportation arrangements without prior notice in the best interest of the safety and well-being of the participants.
* No refunds or compensation will be provided for any changes in the itinerary or unused services due to such unforeseen circumstances.
- Conduct and Responsibility
* Participants are expected to respect the local customs, traditions, and religious sentiments throughout the Yatra.
* Shiven Holidays (A Unit of T.S .Hospitality) reserves the right to refuse service to anyone whose conduct is deemed disruptive or offensive to others or the local culture.
* Participants are responsible for their personal belongings. Shiven Holidays (A Unit of T.S .Hospitality) will not be liable for any loss, theft, or damage to personal property.
* Participants must adhere to all rules and regulations set by the local authorities and Shiven Holidays (A Unit of T.S .Hospitality) during the Yatra.
- Limitation of Liability
* Shiven Holidays (A Unit of T.S .Hospitality) acts as a facilitator for the Yatra and is not responsible for any accidents, injuries, illnesses, loss of life, or damages that may occur during the Yatra due to natural calamities, road conditions, political unrest, or other unforeseen circumstances.
* Our liability is limited to the extent of the Yatra cost paid by the participant. We shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or punitive damages.
- Force Majeure
* Shiven Holidays (A Unit of T.S .Hospitality) shall not be held responsible for any failure to perform its obligations due to events of force majeure, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of terrorism, political instability, epidemics, pandemics, road blockages, or government restrictions.
- Governing Law and Jurisdiction
* These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh.
- Disclaimer
* The Kailash Mansarovar Yatra involves travel to high-altitude regions with challenging terrain and unpredictable weather conditions. Participants should be aware of the inherent risks involved and undertake the Yatra at their own risk.
