Along the way, the yatra also leads you to the nine powerful temples of Goddess Durga, known as the Nau Devis, spread across Himachal and Jammu. Each temple is a gateway to a different form of the Goddess from the calm and nurturing to the strong and fierce.With a mix of scenic drives, peaceful treks, and temple visits, this journey brings together both the masculine energy of Lord Shiva and the divine strength of Goddess Durga creating a beautiful balance of faith and nature, stillness and movement, devotion and discovery.

The Manimahesh Kailash Yatra takes you to the sacred Manimahesh Lake near Bharmour in Himachal Pradesh, believed to be created by Lord Shiva himself. Pilgrims take a holy dip in the lake, especially during the annual yatra, to seek blessings and spiritual cleansing.
Along this, Nau devi Darsham covers nine powerful temples of Goddess Durga across Jammu and Himachal. Each temple reflects a different form of the goddess from strength to compassion and holds ita own unique story and engery. Together, this journey offers the perfect blend of Shiva’s stillness and Shakti’s strength, creating an experience that is both peaceful and powerful and one that stays with you long after you return.
Itinerary
DAY 1: Pathankot to Bharmour (via Chamba)
You'll be received at Pathankot Railway Station or Airport and start your journey toward Bharmour. The drive takes you through the scenic hills of Chamba. If time allows, you can explore local temples or markets along the way. By evening, you'll reach Bharmour and check into your hotel. Visit the ancient Chaurasi Temple complex before relaxing for the night.

DAY 2: Bharmour - Manimahesh
After breakfast, head to the helipad in Bharmour for a short helicopter ride to Gauri Kund. From there, it's a 1 km walk to the sacred Manimahesh Lake. Take a holy dip and offer prayers while enjoying the view of the snow-capped Manimahesh Kailash Peak. You'll attend the peaceful evening aarti near the lake.

DAY 3: Manimahesh to Bharmour
Begin your day with a final prayer and return walk to Gauri Kund. From there, take the helicopter back to Bharmour. Spend the rest of the day at ease, resting or visiting local temples if you feel up to it. Bharmour's calm surroundings are perfect for reflection after the yatra.

DAY 4: Bharmour to Dharamshala via Khajjiar
After breakfast, drive toward Dharamshala, stopping at Khajjiar along the way. Known as the "Mini Switzerland of India," Khajjiar is surrounded by lush green meadows and deodar trees. After spending some time there, continue your drive through the Dhauladhar ranges. Reach Dharamshala by evening and check into your hotel.

DAY 5: Temple Tour Around Kangra
Start your day with a spiritual journey visiting some of Himachal's most famous temples. These include Jwala Ji with its eternal flame, the powerful Baglamukhi Temple, and the ancient Maa Kangra Devi Temple. Each shrine holds deep spiritual significance and is part of the Nau Devi Darshan. Later, head back to your hotel in Dharamshala.

DAY 6: Chamunda Devi and Dharamshala Local Tour
Begin the morning with a visit to Chamunda Devi Temple, beautifully located between the hills. Later, explore key sites around Dharamshala, including the Dalai Lama Monastery and Bhagsu Nag Temple. You can also stroll around Dal Lake or explore the colorful streets of McLeodganj. Enjoy Tibetan food or relax at a local café.

DAY 7: Dharamshala to Naina Devi via Chintpurni and Sheetla Devi
Leave early for a temple tour that includes Chintpurni Temple, where wishes are believed to come true. Next, visit the Sheetla Devi Temple, dedicated to protection and health. Continue your journey up to the hilltop Naina Devi Temple, offering grand views. It's a spiritually rich day with peaceful mountain drives in between.

DAY 8: Naina Devi to Mansa Devi - Drive to Chandigarh
If needed, visit Naina Devi Temple again in the morning. Then, head to Mansa Devi Temple in Panchkula, a major Shaktipeeth and a favorite among devotees. Offer your prayers and enjoy the calm surroundings. By evening, arrive in Chandigarh and check into your hotel.

DAY 9: Chandigarh local and drop off
Morning after breakfast check out from hotel and have some local sightseeing like Sukna Lake and Rock Garden before drop off at Chandigarh airport.
